Absolutely Games alongside Team 17 have announced in the Gamescom Opening Night Live preshow, a new Worms game “Worms Galactic Tactics” described as a “fresh tactical roguelike take on Worms”.
In the best way possible, the embedded below trailer gave me a dose of Crash Bash vibes (of course mixed with a strong glass of Worms!) that I have been missing for many, many years.
Coming to Nintendo Swich 2, PlayStation 5, Steam and Xbox Series, the game features the signature Worms vibe with comedy and destruction at the centre of everything.
Gear up a custom squad and take on the Galactic Gauntlet: a multi-stage deathmatch where every battle brings new enemies, potent upgrades and fresh opportunities to cause mayhem!
Plan your moves, power-up your weapons and wow the crowd as you climb the ranks, with the ultimate goal of facing down the gauntlet’s ruthless kingpin: the magnificent Emperor Flugg!
