Pocketpair has filed trademarks for “Palworld Online” in both the United States and South Korea, potentially hinting at future plans for the massively popular survival game.
According to the filings, the South Korean trademark was submitted on April 24, while the U.S. trademark followed on April 27. Both filings also include a new logo for the branding.
While Palworld already supports online multiplayer including four-player co-op and dedicated 32-player servers Pocketpair has yet to officially explain what “Palworld Online” actually refers to.

The trademark could potentially be tied to the game’s upcoming Version 1.0 launch planned for 2026. Another possibility is that it simply acts as a dedicated brand name for the game’s multiplayer component, similar to how Grand Theft Auto Online exists alongside the main Grand Theft Auto releases.
Separately, a mobile adaptation is already in development through KRAFTON and PUBG Studios under the official title Palworld Mobile.
Palworld originally launched in Early Access in January 2024 for Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC before later arriving on PlayStation 5 in September 2024.
