Xbox have shared that given the busy release schedule at the end of the year (previously reported as an internal delay), Fable will in fact be delayed into 2027.
Given a February release window, hopefully this gives Playground Games time to breathe after the successful, but very recent release of Forza Horizon 6.
Playground Games were quick to confirm that Fable will be at the Xbox Showcase with “some big reveals”.
Obviously, we want Fable sooner rather than later, but it is hard to dispute the sheer volume of games still to be released this year, including a fair few from Xbox including Gears of War E-Day, Halo Campgagn Evolve & Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4.
