Hasbro to Produce New Toys Based on Nintendo’s The Legend of Zelda Franchise

Nintendo fans will soon have a new line of collectibles to look forward to, as Hasbro has announced a multi-year partnership to create toys based on The Legend of Zelda franchise.

The collaboration is scheduled to begin in 2027, marking the first time Hasbro will produce a dedicated line of figures inspired by one of Nintendo’s most iconic series.

Fans won’t have to wait until next year for a first look, however. Hasbro has confirmed that it will unveil the first wave of collectibles during San Diego Comic-Con 2026, which takes place from July 23 to July 26.

The initial reveal will consist of three 6-inch scale action figures, though the company has yet to announce which characters will make up the debut lineup. Given the franchise’s history, it’s widely expected that Link, Princess Zelda, and Ganondorf could feature among the first releases, but Hasbro has not confirmed any characters.

The agreement is described as a multi-year collaboration, suggesting this will be more than a one-off release. If successful, the line could expand to include characters, creatures, and designs spanning decades of The Legend of Zelda history.

With Nintendo continuing to invest in its biggest franchises across games, film, and merchandise, the partnership represents another major step in bringing The Legend of Zelda to collectors beyond the console.

More details including the identity of the first three figures, pricing, and a release window are expected to be revealed during Hasbro’s San Diego Comic-Con presentation later this week.
