Marvelous has officially revealed Eternal Anima, a new RPG previously known as Project Life is RPG. The game is being developed by a team of experienced RPG creators and is set to launch on March 4, 2027.
Eternal Anima will release for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam.
The project was originally announced in 2023 under the Project Life is RPG name. Marvelous has now formally revealed the game’s final title alongside its release date and additional information about the editions planned for launch.
The RPG is being developed by several notable veterans of the genre, including director Katsuhisa Higuchi, story concept writer Keisuke Makino, and scenario writer Kazushige Nojima.
Physical Editions Confirmed for PS5 and Switch 2
Players in North America will be able to pick up physical copies of Eternal Anima on both PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2, alongside their respective digital releases.
The standard PlayStation 5 edition will cost $49.99, while the Nintendo Switch 2 version will be priced at $59.99. Marvelous has confirmed that the full game will be included on the Switch 2 game card.
A limited edition will also be available for both platforms.
The PlayStation 5 limited edition will cost $79.99, while the Switch 2 version will be priced at $89.99. Both editions include a copy of the game, a two-disc soundtrack, nine character art cards with a display stand, and an art book.
Marvelous has also confirmed pricing for Europe.
The standard edition will cost €49.99 on both PlayStation 5 and Switch 2, while the limited edition will be priced at €79.99.
With its launch now set for early 2027, Eternal Anima is shaping up to be one of Marvelous’ notable RPG releases for the year.
