LEVEL-5 has announced Yo-kai Watch 2: Haunted Domain, a remake of the second mainline entry in the Yo-kai Watch series, for Nintendo Switch 2.
The announcement was made without a release date, so fans will have to wait for LEVEL-5 to share more details on when the remake will arrive.
According to the developer, Haunted Domain will retain what made the original Yo-kai Watch 2 special while giving the game a substantial visual overhaul.

LEVEL-5 says the remake will feature completely revamped graphics while preserving the core elements that made Yo-kai Watch 2 popular.
However, the studio isn’t stopping at updated visuals. New features are also in development, including additional story content and new Yo-kai for players to discover.
The developer teased the project on social media, saying it is working to keep the original game’s appeal intact while expanding the experience with new content.
For fans of the series, that could make Haunted Domain more than a straightforward remake, particularly with LEVEL-5 already confirming that additional story material and new Yo-kai are planned.
For now, details remain limited, and LEVEL-5 has yet to announce a release date for Yo-kai Watch 2: Haunted Domain on Nintendo Switch 2.
